We do not give because we have to, but because God first gave to us, and we do so with a joyful heart. Financial giving can be divided into two categories: tithes and offerings. The Bible teaches us to worship the Lord with our tithe, which is giving 10% of our income. When we give in addition to our tithe, it’s called an offering. Giving an offering is a chance to be extravagantly generous. You can give these additional offerings to our Compassion/Missions fund to help meet the needs of our international partners and outreach to the Rio Grande Valley.
